Job Description: We are currently seeking an Entry Level Associate and an Associate with 3+ years of experience to join our patent and intellectual property litigation practice. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on rewarding, interesting, and challenging litigation matters in the field of intellectual property. Candidates with a technical background, preferably in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a trial team to handle patent and intellectual property litigation cases.
- Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and develop effective strategies for litigation.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Engage in discovery activities, including document review and analysis.
- Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel and clients.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on patent and intellectual property matters.
- Stay updated on developments in patent and intellectual property law.
Requirements: Entry-Level Associate:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong academic credentials, reflecting a commitment to excellence.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn and develop litigation skills.
Associate with 3+ years of experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in patent and intellectual property litigation.
- Technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong academic credentials, reflecting a commitment to excellence.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of litigation.
