Job Description: Our client, a long-established Trusts & Estates practice, is seeking a highly experienced Trusts and Estates Paralegal to join their Philadelphia office. This is an immediate full-time position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in all phases of estate administration, with a strong focus on the preparation and filing of death tax returns. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional client service, demonstrating excellent communication skills, and working independently to handle complex estate matters. Experience with fiduciary accounting software is required, and familiarity with Lackner 6-in-1 software is a plus. The position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
- Manage all phases of estate administration, including but not limited to the preparation and filing of death tax returns.
- Communicate directly with clients, demonstrating professionalism and delivering outstanding service.
- Independently handle various tasks related to estate administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Utilize fiduciary accounting software to maintain accurate records and handle financial aspects of estate administration.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to efficiently resolve estate matters.
- Keep abreast of relevant laws and regulations related to estate administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in all phases of estate administration, including preparation and filing of death tax returns.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in managing estate matters.
- Experience with fiduciary accounting software.
- Familiarity with Lackner 6-in-1 software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
