Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a senior-level content marketing professional with a minimum of seven years of experience in a content marketing function. This person, who will be based in the firm’s New York office, will operate at the manager level and must be comfortable working closely with partners and multiple practice groups in a high-performance, fast-paced professional services environment.

Ideal profile

The successful candidate will bring:

  • Strong content marketing experience, with at least 7+ years in a relevant role
  • Legal content and marketing experience preferred
  • Law firm experience is not required, though candidates with law firm backgrounds are of particular interest
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns
  • Excellent editing and writing skills, with a strong editorial eye
  • The ability to combine editorial strength with marketing sophistication to help shape and elevate content and thought leadership initiatives
  • Experience partnering closely with business development teams and other key stakeholders
  • Strong idea generation capabilities and a solid understanding of the legal industry
  • The confidence and maturity to work directly with lawyers, engage in substantive discussions, and navigate sensitive situations with senior, high-profile, and demanding stakeholders
  • We would also consider candidates coming from consulting environments

Additional context

This is a highly visible role that requires someone polished, strategic, and adept at building relationships across a range of constituencies. The person in this role will work closely with attorneys and internal teams to develop thoughtful, high-quality content and support broader marketing and thought leadership efforts.
