Our client is seeking a Senior Manager of Awards and Recognition – Litigation in their New York office. Reporting to the firm’s Chief Communications Officer, this newly created hybrid role is part of the broader build-out of the firm’s awards and recognition function.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the firm’s litigation-focused recognition and rankings strategy
• Managing directory submissions across key publications, including Chambers, Legal 500, IFLR, and others
• Partnering closely with a broad group of BD and marketing stakeholders
• Operating in a player/coach capacity — this is not solely a people management role, and the person will need to be hands-on with both submissions and strategy
• Helping assess and shape the function as the team structure continues to evolve
• Supervising 1–3 team members
Ideal background:
• Am Law 100 firm experience is required
• Strong experience in firm recognition, directories and award submissions
• Deep familiarity with the litigation space
• Prior experience working closely with litigation practices at another major law firm, whether in BD, marketing, or firm recognition
• Securities litigation experience would be especially attractive
• Antitrust and/or general commercial litigation experience would also be helpful
