Marketing Specialist and/or Marketing Coordinator

Seeking a Marketing Specialist in the Miami office.
The Marketing Specialist supports the firm’s strategic marketing initiatives by executing high-quality, scalable marketing programs that enhance brand visibility, strengthen practice and industry positioning, and support business development. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive marketing professional with experience in professional services marketing, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and cross-functional teams.
Essential Functions
- Support the planning and execution of practice group, industry, and geographic marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and approvals to ensure campaigns are executed on schedule and in line with brand.
- Assist with marketing initiatives that support priority practices and markets.
- Draft, edit, and coordinate marketing content, including attorney bios, practice descriptions, client alerts, event invitations, and website updates.
- Support thought leadership initiatives by coordinating content calendars and publication schedules.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with legal guides and directory organizations including but not limited to Martindale-Hubbell, Chambers, and Super Lawyers.
- Coordinate submissions to surveys, legal directories, and key awards and rankings.
- Ensure consistency with firm brand standards and messaging frameworks
- Assist with content and website updates, including attorney and practice pages.
- Support email marketing campaigns, including list management, deployment, and reporting.
- Track and report campaign performance, website analytics, and engagement metrics to support quarterly reporting.
- Support firm-hosted events, webinars, sponsorships, and conferences.
- Coordinate logistics, invitations, materials, and post-event follow-up.
- Track attendance and engagement metrics for reporting purposes.
- Serve as a day-to-day marketing contact for assigned practices or initiatives.
- Respond to attorney marketing requests efficiently and professionally.
- Educate attorneys on available marketing tools, templates, and best practices.
- Support CRM and contact management initiatives as needed.
- Maintain marketing templates, databases, and shared resources.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality control across all deliverables.
- Actively participate in lawyer meetings as requested/appropriate.
- Assist with vendor coordination and invoice processing as needed.
- Provide support to attorneys by attending conferences as needed.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a similar field.
- 4-6 years of Marketing experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting.
- Marketing experience in the professional services industry. Familiarity with marketing professional services to the general public, preferably to law firms, and consistent with attorney rules of professional responsibility.
- Familiarity with and fluency in various marketing media, including website design and SEO.
- Experience with social media marketing on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, blogs, online video, and related media.
- Computer skills, including knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and preferred experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (or comparable graphic expertise).

- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of grammatical rules for the English language and strong spelling skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from attorneys, clients, coworkers, and the public.
