Our client, a prestigious well known Law Firm, is looking for someone ready for the next step as a Controller. In this role, you will work closely with the CFO to manage the firm’s accounting, financial reporting, and operational finance functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role requires both strategic oversight and hands‑on execution, with a focus on continuous process improvement to scale our financial operations to meet evolving business needs.
You will lead and develop the Accounting team, oversee billing and collections processes, manage payroll and compliance, and serve as a trusted advisor to firm leadership!
Qualifications

5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.

Law firm accounting experience preferred (minimum 2–3 years strongly desired).

Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; solid skills in Word and PowerPoint.

Experience with Aderant and ADP strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of legal trust accounting and compliance requirements.

Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem‑solving abilities.

Proven project management experience, including system implementations.
