Our client is a prominent law firm that has over three decades of experience providing the highest quality of service to our clients. The Firm specializes in commercial real estate transactions, representing lending institutions, investment funds, and small to medium sized companies in all aspects of real estate including financing, buying, selling, leasing, and development.

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistants in our NYC and Purchase, NY offices to assist us in our growing workload of commercial transactions.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and preparing loan documents;
  • Assist Attorneys and Paralegals in the organization and retention of files and documents;
  • Proofreading and revising loan documents;
  • Drafting correspondence on behalf of Attorneys;
  • Organizing the retention of files and documents; and
  • Organizing legal information and reference materials.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant working in a law firm;
  • Must have experience with real estate;
  • Good communications skills;
  • Time management skills;
  • Ability to multi-task;
  • Familiarity with document management software; and
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
