Key Responsibilities:
• Marketing Materials: Maintain and update firm marketing materials such as pop-up banners, one-  pagers, brochures and giveaways ensuring consistency and alignment with the firm’s brand guidelines and work closely with our vendor relationships to develop and execute timely and accurate production.
• Strategic Planning & Execution: Work with the Marketing Director and Manager to contribute to and assist in the development and execution of strategic plans to drive business development.
• Pitches, Proposals & RFPs: Draft responses to pitches, proposals and RFPs with guidance from the Marketing Manager or Marketing Director.
• Rankings & Directories: Draft, finalize and submit responses to ranking directories and surveys such as Chambers, IFLR1000, Benchmark Litigation, etc.
• Content Development: Play a key role in the development of practice group-specific website content, bios and marketing collateral such as brochures and one-pagers. Contribute ideas to increase brand awareness and profile, including driving outward-facing activities such as sponsored events, in-house presentations, professional speaking opportunities, client alerts, videos and podcasts.
• Event Planning: Coordinate and assist with the planning and execution of practice group retreats, webinars, sponsorship activities and high-profile client and referral source events.
• Communications: Create and distribute client alerts, newsletters, and other firm communications while working directly with attorney points of contact.
• Tracking & Analysis: Track marketing initiatives, attorney board service, sponsorships and events using spreadsheets, and analyze return on investment (ROI) and other metrics.
• Practice Group Support: Work in collaboration with practice group leadership to develop agendas for meetings, prepare and circulate meeting summaries, and help identify and execute on next steps identified during meetings.
• Portal Management: In conjunction with IS, maintain marketing page on the firm’s internal portal and repository of relevant business development materials such as RFPs and process documents.
• Marketing Onboarding & Headshots: Provide detailed orientation follow up to all new attorneys and senior staff which includes creation of signature blocks, obtaining contact lists, and coordinating headshots while maintaining an organized photo library.
• Special Projects: Assist the Director of Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer with any other projects deemed critical such as matter description summaries and practice group rewrites.

• Software Proficiency: Experience with website maintenance, contact management systems, and tracking metrics using spreadsheets. Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing platforms, and design software such as Canva or InDesign (preferred but not required).
• Technical Proficiency: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and capable of producing quality written communications such as memos, spreadsheets, slides, and other standard work documents.

Education & Experience:
• The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a legal marketing or business development role, experience in another branch of professional services marketing may be considered.
