Responsibilities: Consistently meet the Firm’s standards of excellence in supporting our attorney teams. Work closely with attorneys to handle all aspects of case management and trial preparation in a fast-paced environment. Report to one or more firm Partners throughout all stages of litigation and actively participate in helping the Firm provide legal services of the highest caliber to our Clients.

  • Perform research, draft documents, manage a high-volume caseload, and prepare for trial.
  • Manage various aspects of trial preparation, including drafting comprehensive summaries, gathering exhibits, compiling trial notebooks, and filing court documents.
  • Organize and maintain case files, actively participate in document collection and production, deposition preparation, hearings, and trials.
  • Manage databases for searches and document retrieval. Conduct cite checks and case pulls using Lexis and/or Westlaw databases and conduct complex research and investigation to further deposition preparation and development of trial strategy.
  • Obtain information from medical providers. Request, review, and summarize relevant medical records.
  • Draft all pleadings including summons and complaints. Draft motions, discovery demands, and responses to discovery demands. Transcribe and proofread legal documents when needed. Review and prepare various legal documents, reports, and correspondence. Finalize documents for submission, including all required exhibits.
  • Maintain and manage settlements, ensuring up-to-date information is provided to all parties, and payments are issued and tracked.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • 2+ years of paralegal experience in litigation (State/Federal).
  • Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices, etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and coordinate several activities at once.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and interact effectively with all levels of personnel, including management, attorneys, and support staff.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, time management, and adherence to strict deadlines.
  • Experience filing motions and e-filing/ECF documents. Proactively file court documents.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and driven with a commitment to excellence.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Experience with Federal Court filings and systems such as PACER and ECF is a must.
  • Initiative to problem-solve.
  • Proficient in Adobe, Concordance, Case NoteBook, Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Paralegal or other relevant certification and/or a Bachelor’s or Associates degree from an accredited college or university is a plus but not required. Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
