This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HRIS/HCM professional to join an impactful and growing HR team. This role will lead the HRIS team, combining system oversight, operational transactions and administrative workflow needs of the department. Reporting to the Director of HR Operations, this position will work closely with the HR, Finance, and IT departments to develop, manage and execute HR system-related projects. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Management, or other Business related disciplines; • At least 7 years’ experience with HR technology, project management, process improvement and team development • UKG/Ultimate Software transactional experience, required • Professional services environment and matrixed organization experience, preferred • Law firm experience highly desired • Advanced knowledge of UKG platforms, including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, Performance Management, Workforce Planning and Benefits • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices required • Advanced knowledge of business and workflow analysis with a focus upon continuous improvement • Advanced knowledge of security and data management • Advanced knowledge of Human Resources practices and principles relating to HRIS/HCM • Proven ability to deliver projects with measured results in a dynamic work environment. Comfortable managing risk and uncertainty • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others; and • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite • Strong interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence and ability to build rapport at all levels Responsibilities • Technical expert for UKG and other HR technologies • Implement new UKG modules and oversee maintenance, and optimization of the HRIS to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within HR functions • Manage relationships with HRIS vendors and ensuring service levels meet organizational needs • Provide training and support to HR staff and end-users to ensure effective and efficient use of HRIS tools • Point of contact for troubleshooting and issue resolution related to HRIS functionality • Lead and manage HRIS projects, such as, databases, reporting, compliance, workflow analysis, security and improvements, in collaboration with the appropriate departments, internal/external stakeholders, and firm management • Execute and complete projects within deadlines and budgets • Support and optimize all modules of the UKG application in use by the firm to support stakeholder requirements • Manage HRIS team and resources to optimize efficiencies; leverage best practices to focus on continuous process improvement • Maintain project documents (needs requirements, agendas, meeting action items, open projects list) for cross-functional work and team roadmap • Protect information and ensure data privacy and compliance measures are adhered to; oversee UKG system security • Proposes solutions, inspires collaboration and builds trust with the HR department, firmwide departments, and other internal/external stakeholders • Ensure design and implementation of best practices with thorough documentation of SLAs, SOPs, project requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes
