Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of fifteen years of experience in handling cases from pleadings to trial in state Supreme Court or federal courts.
- Expertise: Proficiency in researching and drafting motions in complex real estate litigation cases at both the trial and appellate levels.
- Legal Documents: Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, motions, and complex settlement agreements.
- Litigation Phases: Participation in all phases of court proceedings, including arguing motions and conducting and defending depositions.
- Preferred Experience: Real estate litigation experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a wide range of legal matters from initial pleadings through trial and appeal in state Supreme Court and federal courts.
- Conduct thorough research and prepare well-structured motions in complex real estate litigation cases.
- Draft and review various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and complex settlement agreements.
- Actively participate in all phases of court proceedings, which may include arguing motions and conducting or defending depositions.
- Utilize expertise in real estate litigation to contribute to case success.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
