We are partnering with a prestigious AM Law Firm to find a highly skilled Senior Associate for their Commercial Real Estate team in their Washington, D.C. office. Our client is renowned for their expertise in representing Borrowers, Owners, and Investors in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and financings. They are seeking a talented attorney with 7+ years of experience in this field.
Responsibilities:
- Transactional Expertise: Review and negotiate joint venture agreements, loan documents on behalf of Borrowers, and contracts related to the buying, selling, and financing of commercial real estate.
- Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including title review, zoning analysis, and environmental assessments, to identify potential risks and ensure compliance.
- Client Representation: Represent Borrowers, Owners, and Investors in commercial real estate transactions, providing strategic advice, ensuring legal compliance, and advocating for their best interests.
- Autonomy and Team Collaboration: Run transactions autonomously while effectively collaborating with colleagues to ensure successful outcomes for clients.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, demonstrating professionalism, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years of experience representing Borrowers, Owners, and Investors in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and financings.
- Transactional Proficiency: Extensive experience in reviewing and negotiating joint venture agreements, loan documents on behalf of Borrowers, and handling commercial real estate transactions.
- Sophisticated Law Firm Background: Significant and sophisticated law firm experience, demonstrating the ability to handle complex transactions.
- Autonomy and Collaboration: Proven ability to independently manage transactions while also working effectively as part of a team.
