Our client, a highly reputable law firm, is seeking a talented and driven associate to join their esteemed Government Contracts practice group. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with 2-6 years of experience to work on complex government contracts matters and make a significant impact within the field.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a wide range of government contracts matters, including bid protests, requests for equitable adjustment and claims, FAR compliance, teaming agreements and subcontracts, False Claims Act investigations, and other related areas.
- Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, and provide strategic advice to clients.
- Assist in preparing and negotiating contract documents, proposals, and agreements.
- Advise clients on federal small business programs such as the 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, and HUBZone programs.
- Collaborate with partners and team members to develop innovative solutions and strategies.
Qualifications:
- 2-6 years of experience in government contracts law, preferably gained at a reputable law firm or government agency.
- Strong knowledge of federal procurement laws, regulations, and practices.
- Experience with bid protests, FAR compliance, and investigations related to federal procurement law.
- Familiarity with federal small business programs is highly desirable.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
