We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bankruptcy Attorney. As a Bankruptcy Attorney, you will play a crucial role in handling Chapter 11 Bankruptcy cases and related proceedings, financial reorganization, and creditors’ rights matters. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in complex corporate restructuring and possess excellent writing, research, and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and related proceedings, financial reorganization, and creditors’ rights to handle complex cases efficiently and effectively.
- Draft various legal documents, including complaints, answers, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and provide well-informed advice to clients.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of legal professionals to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.
- Communicate directly with clients, providing expert legal counsel and building strong professional relationships.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and related proceedings, financial reorganization, and/or creditors’ rights.
- Additional experience in complex corporate restructuring is considered a plus.
- Possess exceptional writing skills necessary for drafting various legal documents.
- Strong research capabilities to analyze legal issues and identify relevant case law and precedents.
- Excellent oral communication skills to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and confidently.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and/or New York.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a legal team.
- Proven experience in directly interacting with clients, exhibiting professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
