Our client, a well-established and respected law firm,, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join its HR team in their Princeton area location. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this individual will play a key role in supporting the firm’s day-to-day HR operations while serving as a trusted resource to attorneys, managers, and staff. The HR Manager will oversee employee relations, performance management, HR administration, onboarding, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes, ensuring HR policies and procedures are consistently applied across the organization. This position will also support annual HR initiatives, partner with Talent Acquisition on new hire integration, lead HR process improvement projects, and help drive operational excellence through system enhancements and continuous improvement efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 57 years of progressive Human Resources experience within a law firm or professional services environment. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws, HR operations, employee relations, and HR compliance, with experience supporting multi-state organizations preferred. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage confidential information with discretion, and experience working with HRIS platforms.
