We are partnering with a prestigious, national Law firm to hire a Digital Marketing Strategist in its Nashville office.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Content Strategy, this newly created position will play a critical role in reshaping and modernizing the firm’s digital marketing function, helping drive audience engagement, lead generation, and business development outcomes across the firm.

This position offers the opportunity to serve as the strategic leader for digital marketing initiatives while partnering closely with content, business development, technology, and sales enablement teams. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic vision and hands-on digital marketing expertise, with the ability to build roadmaps, improve processes, leverage marketing technologies, and coach internal stakeholders on best practices across digital channels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute digital marketing strategies that support business development, thought leadership, and brand awareness objectives
• Lead efforts related to marketing automation, audience segmentation, lead nurturing, and workflow optimization
• Drive email marketing strategy including personalization, audience targeting, A/B testing, and engagement optimization
• Advise on website user experience, conversion optimization, user journeys, and content discoverability
• Develop and refine digital targeting strategies across web, search, social media, and paid channels
• Partner with content teams to improve content visibility through SEO, keyword strategy, and optimization initiatives
• Support technical and on-page SEO efforts while helping the firm adapt to evolving AI-driven search behaviors
• Analyze campaign and event performance, developing dashboards and reports that translate data into actionable insights
• Recommend enhancements to website functionality, conversion paths, tagging strategies, and digital measurement capabilities
• Collaborate closely with marketing technology, content strategy, and business development teams to improve digital marketing effectiveness

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing strategy, marketing automation, or related functions
• Experience operating within a sophisticated marketing environment
• Strong understanding of marketing technology ecosystems and campaign execution workflows
• Hands-on experience with email marketing, website marketing, and marketing automation platforms
• Strong proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4), SEO tools, and digital campaign measurement methodologies
• Experience working with CRM systems, CMS platforms, and digital marketing technologies
• Understanding of AI-driven search trends and digital optimization strategies
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategy while also guiding execution and process improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or influencing cross-functional teams is highly desirable
