Accounts Receivable Specialist – (Hybrid) (Detroit, Dallas, Pittsburgh, or Philadelphia)
We are working with a well-established, mid-to-large-sized law firm to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support their growing finance team.

Responsibilities:
· Manage and maintain a portfolio of client accounts, driving collections and follow-up activity
· Communicate with attorneys, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues
· Generate AR and ledger reports, addressing client-specific concerns
· Execute collection strategies and document outreach efforts in line with firm protocols
· Research and update client contact information using internal systems and external tools
· Handle dispute resolution, escalating complex issues as needed
· Review billing activity, insurance coverage, and retainer applications
· Recommend and follow up on write-offs in accordance with firm policies
· Prepare monthly reporting for internal business unit review
· Support departmental goals and contribute to overall collection performance
Qualifications:
· 3–5+ years of accounts receivable, collections, or related experience (law firm experience preferred but not required)
· Strong ability to drive collections and manage client relationships
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking ability
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Familiarity with FDCPA guidelines is a plus
· Experience with Elite/3E or ARCS is a plus
