We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated professional with experience and skills in web content and site management and oversight. The website content manager will be responsible for updating and managing website content, maximizing the functionality and features of the site, and enhancing our brand online, consistent with the firm’s goals.

In addition to updating the site and working with the firm’s editorial team on editing and proofreading site content, this person will also work closely with various internal and external team members on related projects, service delivery, and site trouble-shooting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with and maximizing the branding and impact of websites for other entities. Customer service and project management skills and a strong understanding of website technologies and metrics, including mobile technologies, are essential as well. Strong communication skills, work ethic, and an organized work style are essential to success in this position. Tasks require strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and as needed, sometimes with tight deadlines.

• Update and manage content for organization’s web presence (requires proficiency working with the firm’s website platforms)
• Work cooperatively and effectively with attorneys, technology and client services department members, and vendors, to coordinate and execute web projects on time and within budget
• Assist in maintaining a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties;
• Maximize the functionality, features, and impact of the site
• Update and maintain the website
• Oversee external resources such as web designers, developers, and programmers
• Keep current with and recommend appropriate emerging web technologies
• Assure web-based information is on hand for future needs and reference
• Utilize and manage website analytics, reporting on visitor behavior and site usage, etc., and make appropriate recommendations
• Monitor general delivery site mailbox to ensure requests are properly and responsively routed
• Develop, execute, and oversee a site maintenance program

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Advanced knowledge of HTML and experience with popular content management systems (e.g., Drupal, Convio, Kintera, WordPress, and others)
• Experience with multi-browser design including Internet Explorer, Safari, Google, and Mozilla Firefox—covering desktops, tablets and mobile
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience with Adobe CS Suite, Shockwave, Flash, and various design tools
• Ability to utilize creative skills necessary for refreshing the appearance of the web site
• Ability to execute all areas of responsibility described above

Education / Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience managing content and production for high-impact websites
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
